The Major Mets upset the undefeated Cardinals 6-3 on Wednesday 5/27 at Bodman 2. After the first meeting where the Cards came out on top 2-4 during a pitchers duel.

The Mets came to play. They had the bats going in the first scoring 3 on 6 hits including doubles by Michael Cavallino and John Schneider. Triples by Ryan Byrd and Richie Oster. Ryan Byrd also had a triple in the 5th and then scored on a passed ball on the throw from the outfield.

The Mets defense tonight was second to none.

Ryan Byrd pitched a complete game only giving up 4 hits while striking out 8 including 3 in the 6th.   Great Job Team.
