Mission Statement
Middletown Little League is a totally volunteer organization that promotes the Little League program in Middletown Township. Our purpose is to promote the ideals of Little League Baseball and to help guide children in the development of their moral character, sense of sportsmanship, self-discipline, and self-confidence through participation in team sports. Little League is a program of service to youth. It is geared to provide an outlet of healthful activity and training under good leadership in the atmosphere of wholesome community participation. The movement is dedicated to helping children become good and decent citizens. It inspires them with a goal and enriches their lives toward the day when they must take their places in the world. It establishes the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.
Little League Pledge
I trust in God, I love my country, and I will respect its laws. I will play fair and strive to win, but win or lose I will always do my best.
Little League Parent/Volunteer Pledge
I will teach all children to play fair and do their best.
I will positively support all managers, coaches, and players.
I will respect the decisions of the umpires.
I will praise a good effort despite the outcome of the game.
