Bistro Manager – The manager of the Bistro is responsible for the overall operation of the Bistro including but not limited to the scheduling of volunteers for all games and events.

Treasurer - The treasurer signs checks co-signed by another officer or director (or as directed by the local league’s constitution), dispenses league funds as approved by the board of directors, reports on the status of league funds, keeps local league books and financial records, prepares budgets, and assumes the responsibility for all local league finances. Any questions regarding bonds should be directed to the Treasurer.

Player Agent - The player agent conducts annual tryouts, is in charge of player selection, assists the president in checking birth records and eligibility of players and generally supervises and coordinates the transfer of players to or from the Minor Leagues according to provisions of the regulations of Little League Baseball. Separate player agents may also be selected to oversee individual divisions within the league.

Safety Officer - The safety officer coordinates all safety activities including supervision of ASAP (A Safety Awareness Program), ensures safety in player training, ensures safe playing conditions, coordinates reporting and prevention of injuries, solicits suggestions for making conditions safer, and reports suggestions to Little League International through the ASAP system.

Information Officer - The information officer manages the league’s official home page, assigns administrative rights to league volunteers and teams, ensures that league news and scores are updated on a regular basis, collects, posts and distributes important information.

Campbell Scholarship Chairmen
The scholarship chairman is responsible for distributing of information regarding the annual scholarship. The chairman also collects application and Chairs the Scholarship committee.

Equipment Manager
Keeping an inventory and holding down the leagues costs is this positions first priority. Making certain that all teams are properly equipped with safe gear is also a priority. The Equipment Manager should not only take inventory, but ensure that all equipment is in good working order. He/she is responsible for everything from the balls, bats, and catcher’s gear, to the rakes and equipment used to maintain the fields.

At the beginning of the season, basic equipment is distributed by the Equipment Manager. In order to receive their equipment, team managers must turn in a Managers agreement and sign out for their teams equipment. All equipment used in practice and games must be Little League approved and meet local and national Little League regulations. All equipment must be returned at the completion of each season, no exceptions.

In the event equipment becomes damaged and needs to be replaced or repaired please contact the equipment manager.

Sponsor and Uniform Coordinator
The role of the sponsor coordinator is to manage and record the donations given to the Middletown Little League from local businesses and families. This includes obtaining Team Sponsorships and Field Banners. Sponsorship receipts, plaques and renewal requests are distributed to all sponsors annually.

In conjunction with our team sponsors, uniforms are distributed to all players and our sponsors are assigned to teams with their child’s affiliation whenever possible.

Team Sponsors are accepted up until March 20, 2009. Field Banners may be obtained throughout the spring. If you would like to become a sponsor, know anyone that would like to become a sponsor or have any questions regarding sponsorship please contact the Coordinator.

Field Maintenance Director: This role includes coordination of maintenance activities with volunteers. This position also includes weekly inspection and maintenance, coordinating the striping of the fields during game days, and generally ensuring the fields are in top condition for the enjoyment and safety of our player’s.

Umpire Assignor: This position requires communication with all the league umpires (cadets) as well as coordination with adult umpires (Central Jersey).  Approving online signups, bi-weekly paydays and ensuring that umpires have completed umpire reports for all the games they worked are a few of the required tasks.
